Clan Ranking System

=====CLAN RANKING SYSTEM=====

The following rank system is used by clans in RuneScape:

Recruit->Corporal->Sergeant->Lieutenant->Captain->General->Administrator->Organiser->Coordinator->
Overseer->Deputy Owner->Owner

We rank players based on eligibility, rank requirements and rank points.
There are a total of 12 ranks, only the first 9 rank levels can be automatically earned by having eligibility, fulfilling the rank requirements and by having enough rank points. The last 2 ranks are hand-picked and the last rank is not available.

There are a total of 4 rank tiers consisting of 3 rank levels each, which are Basic, Intermediate, Senior and Elite.

Rank points will only be required when moving up to the next highest tier. As such, rank points are only earned at the 3rd level of each tier, excluding the Elite Tier. The ranks at 3rd level of a tier are Sergeant and General.

Rank points will not be carried forward after the promotion to the next rank.

Senior Tier (Diamond Tier) REQUIRES 1000 RANK POINTS:
Administrator (Bronze diamond)
Organiser (Silver diamond)

Eligibility
=======

Eligibility for a rank-up is assessed by the Elite Ranks. The Elite Ranks will only assess a clan member for a rank-up when the clan member has fulfilled the rank requirements, and have enough rank points if moving on to the next tier.


The Assessment:

Elite Ranks will assess your general behaviour and attitude towards the clan, your loyalty, your clan discipline record, and your readiness. If the Elite Ranks think that you are fit for rank-up, you will be automatically promoted.

Rank Requirements:
===============

Recruit-> Join the clan!
Corporal-> Be at recruit rank for 1 week, and have a fairly clean discipline record or cleaner.
Sergeant-> Be at corporal rank for 1 week, and have a fairly clean discipline record or cleaner.

Lieutenant-> Be at sergeant rank for 2 weeks, and have a fairly clean discipline record or cleaner.
Captain-> Be at lieutenant rank for 3 weeks, and have a fairly clean discipline record or cleaner.
General -> Be at captain rank for 3 weeks, and have a clean discipline record or cleaner.

Admin-> Be at general rank for 4 weeks, and have a clean discipline record or cleaner.
Organiser-> Be at admin rank for 5 weeks, and have a clean discipline record or cleaner.
Coordinator-> Be at captain rank for 6 weeks, and have a very clean discipline record.

Overseer-> Hand-picked by owner.
Deputy Owner -> Hand-picked by owner.
Owner-> Only one owner per clan. Cannot be obtained.

Discipline Record Guidelines
=====================

Eligible for promotion:

Very clean- 0 black marks
Clean:1 black mark
Fairly clean- 2 black marks

Not eligible:

Bad record: 3 black marks
Very bad record: 4 black marks

Rank Points
=========

Rank Points (RP) are points needed by a sergeant and general to move on to the next rank tier.

For the sergeant, 500RP are needed to be eligible for promotion to the Intermediate Tier.
For the general, 1000RP are needed to be eligible for promotion to the Senior Tier.

As a reference, all rank points for sergeants and generals will be recorded and updated frequently in the next 2 posts. Other ranks' RP will not be listed as they do not need RP and it is meticulous to record the RP of all clan members.

How to obtain RP:

Attending an event (events are not compulsory):
100RP per event (Attendance will be taken.)

Helping other members in clan chat:
30RP per day (An elite rank must be witness.)

Recruiting for clan:
40RP per day (An elite rank must be informed, 1 recruit minimum before RP is awarded.)

Being in the clan chat:
20RP per day (An elite rank must be present.)

Incentives:
========

For every extra 50RP over the goal RP Amount, a day will be discounted from the next rank level's time requirement, and the extra RP are deducted until no extra RP is left/extra RP amount is less than 50.

Example:
A sergeant has 660/500 RP, and there are 5 more days until he fulfills the time requirement for the lieutenant rank. As he has an excess of 160RP, 150RP will be deducted and 3 days for the time requirement will be discounted.

Now, the sergeant will have 510/500 RP, and he only needs to wait 2 more days until he is promoted to lieutenant rank.
